Best practise secured as Tapestry gains ISO/IEC certification

Tapestry’s commitment to ensuring we maintain the highest levels of data protection has been bolstered by the company achieving the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification. This is the international standard that sets out the specification for an information security management system (ISMS).

The audit and certification were performed by Alcumus ISOQAR.  This achievement testifies that Tapestry has formally adopted a broad set of best practices for information security, and confirms an ongoing dedication to the safeguarding, confidentiality, and high availability of services.

It is imperative to Tapestry to take proactive, mitigative steps to prevent any potential data breaches that may impact company operations or put any of our valued clients or respondents at any sort of risk. This is an ongoing pledge, as Stewart Thomson, our Data Protection Officer explains:

“As a market research agency, data and information have always been at the core of everything we do.  It only makes sense that we should do everything we can to protect that, especially since the frequency and complexity of cybersecurity attacks are increasing and more of us are adopting remote working practices.  Our ISMS is designed to not only offer that protection now, but also to adapt over time to continuously meet our needs and stop any new threats that may arise.  I’m proud of the work the Tapestry team have put in and am so glad that has been recognised by a team of independent auditors.”
